Dr Ashwin Dhanda is an academic hepatologist with a clinical and research interest in alcohol-related liver disease. He leads a programme of translational research investigating mechanisms of alcoholic hepatitis and biomarkers of outcome. He is lead for the BASL alcohol-related liver disease Special Interest Group.
